Head of Central Bank of Turkmenistan held a video conference meeting with the Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe of Deutsche Bank AG Joerg Bongartz on Wednesday.

The meeting participants discussed a series of topics, related to bilateral cooperation. The parties noted the productive nature of the cooperation established between Turkmenistan and large German companies, adding that today these traditional business contacts reached a new level.

The sides also discussed the role of the Turkmen-German Intergovernmental Working Group on Economy in the implementation of joint projects.

The sides expressed belief in further successful development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation despite the global epidemiological situation and expressed their commitment to further consolidation of efforts.

Deutsche Bank is one of the five foreign banks operating in Turkmenistan. The bank acted as coordinating and structuring bank, book runner and mandated lead arranger of the project of petrochemical plant in Kiyanly.
