Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed prospects for the development of a mutually beneficial Turkmen-Kyrgyz business cooperation in a video conference meeting on Friday.
The Chairman of the UIET Dovran Hudayberdiyev, board members and heads of several departments of the Union, and businesspeople interested in developing contacts with Kyrgyz counterparts represented the UIET delegation. The Kyrgyz side was represented by the President of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Danil Ibrayev, members of the Union and Adviser to Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Zhyrgalbek Sagynbayev.
Noting the positive dynamics in development of business contacts, the parties discussed key vectors for further expanding cooperation in a number of promising areas, including in the fields of agriculture, logistics, and energy saving systems. The meeting participants also considered the possibilities of creating joint ventures for the development of natural resources of two countries, in particular, for production and processing of stones and solar panels.
The sides made concrete proposals on the opening of joint Trading houses and exchanged views on issues of export of Turkmen textiles, polyethylene, and polypropylene.
The UIET Chairman Dovran Hudayberdiyev has held a video conference meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan Akmaldzhon Kuchkarov on May 28.
The sides considered the issues related to developing cooperation between Turkmen and Uzbek entrepreneurs.
