Turkmen Universities, Vocational Schools to Admit 24,000 Students
In the new school year, 14,337 students will become freshmen of Turkmen universities, which is 2,095 more than last year.

According to the plan for admission to study in universities and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat and velayats in 2020, almost 24 thousand Turkmen young men and women will become students, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported on Monday.

Higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country are instructed to organize school admissions from July 6 to August 15 of this year and conduct entrance exams at the location of educational institutions.

In the new school year, 14,337 students will become freshmen of universities, which is 2,095 more than last year and 9,490 students will be admitted to secondary vocational schools.

Entrance examinations to higher education institutions will be publicly monitored. Digital courses also will be organized in all the higher education institutions.

That entrance examinations will be held from July 22 to August 11, according to the plan.

Acceptance of documents to pedagogical, medical and cultural secondary vocational schools will last from July 6 to July 19, and exams from July 22 to July 29.

At the same time, secondary vocational schools in financial-economic field and self-financing secondary vocational schools will accept documents by August 8, and entrance examinations will be held from August 11 to August 15.
