Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii held a working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Toyly Atayev in Kyiv on Thursday to discuss the possibility of resumption of flights, the National News Agency of Ukraine (Ukrinform) reports citing the press service of the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry.

"The parties discussed the possibility of resuming scheduled passenger flights between the two countries and prospects for further cooperation in other areas," according to the report.

Kryklii stressed that Ukraine is interested in resuming air services with Turkmenistan and is ready to hold consultations in the video conference format to discuss the issue with the leadership of the Türkmenhowaýollary (Turkmenistan Airlines).

The sides also discussed the possibility of resuming transport links to increase trade between the two countries.

Ambassador Atayev stressed that Turkmenistan in interested in cooperation and involvement of Ukrainian companies in restoring economic relations between the two countries.

The Chairman of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine Oleksandr Bilchuk and representatives of the Ministry also attended the meeting.
