Turkmen-Russian talks on bilateral cooperation in construction and construction materials sphere took place in a video conference format on Wednesday, Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
Turkmen side was represented at the talks by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Materials Mergen Orazov and the representatives of the Ministry. Russian side was headed by the Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Сonstruction Igor Kreslavskiy. The Russian delegation also included Deputy Chairperson of the St. Petersburg Committee on External Relations Andrey Hlutkov and representatives of business community of the city.
The meeting participants discussed the issues of exchange of experience in the construction field, introduction of new technologies in the production of building materials, which are used in housing construction, and also the issues of fire security and stability.
The sides particularly noted directions of cooperation in this field, in accordance with the agreements reached during the video conference meeting on June 19, 2020, between the Co-Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation Rashid Meredov and Alexey Overchuk.
