Turkmen Hosiery Producer Expands Its Cotton Plantations
All products of Batly Gadam comply with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Batly Gadam Individual Enterprise, a producer of socks and yarn in Turkmenistan’s western city of Balkanabat, has grown cotton on more than 2,300 hectares of land this year.

A private company has been allotted 11,589 hectares of land in Serdar etrap of Balkan velayat. Last year, the company had planted cotton on 1,750 hectares of land out of developed 8,827 hectares.

According to the Turkmenistan newspaper’s Monday issue, the enterprise’s dye   department dyes 5 tons of yarn in different colors every day.

The sock manufacturing department of the company produces 50,000 socks a day. Businessmen from such countries as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan express interest in the company’s yarns made in accordance with high quality standards.
