Kurban Bayrami (Eid al-Adha) holiday this year in Turkmenistan will be celebrated from July 31 until August 2, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding decree on Tuesday.
All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, are to ensure the enforcement of this Decree.
According to the TDH’s Monday report, Turkmen citizens are recommended to celebrate the Kurban Bayrami at home, limiting public events. SMS notifications with such recommendation were also sent to all cell phone users in the country.
