Turkmenistan’s Halkbank State Commercial Bank will launch a new mobile application - Halbank Terminal, TDH reported on Friday.
The new application is designed to replace POS terminals, through which payments are made in retail and service companies. By downloading the application to smartphone, the bank client can carry out cashless payments for purchases and services quickly and easily.
According to the report, the Halkbank’s mobile application has been developed in order to expand the range of cashless payments in retail outlets and service delivery points.
With the Halbank Terminal application, virtually any smartphone turns into a POS terminal without the need for additional devices and will allow all types of non-cash transactions.
