CIS Countries Consider Issues of Promoting Cooperation Between Business Circles

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS member states will be working to contribute to the development of a favorable framework for business, BelTA news agency reported on Thursday.

The 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS member states was held in a video conference format on Wednesday. The meeting participants decided to work for the creation of a favorable framework in the CIS countries to boost cooperation of the business community, promote the development of interregional ties in the CIS for stable and sustainable economic growth, and participate in the development of measures to support CIS entrepreneurs and overcome the consequences of the pandemic.

The heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry considered perspective areas to develop trade and economic cooperation of the CIS business circles and plans of joint action of the Council members for 2021.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldi Rejepov took part in the online meeting on behalf of the Turkmen side.
