Preparations for the XIII international online conference on the digital economy and innovative technologies of Turkmenistan Türkmentel – 2020 are underway in Turkmenistan.
According to TDH news agency’s Thursday report, Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgeldi Ovezov reported on the preparation for the international conference to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
The international forum will be held on November 24-25 in the building of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Domestic and foreign scientists, experts and businesspeople are expected to take part in the event.
The extensive conference program includes discussions on further development of international cooperation and attracting foreign investment and innovation, implementing projects in the information and telecommunications sector, providing reliable and high-quality services to consumers, and introducing the digital economy.
The forum participants will also exchange views on new types of digital services, improving the efficiency of wireless communication technologies, 5G cellular network and data processing centers, digital education and telemedicine, and ensuring cybersecurity.
Having approved the ongoing activities for the preparation of the international online conference, the Head of State noted the forum’s importance in the exchange of experience between domestic specialists and foreign partners, and further establishment of active cooperation, discussion of promising projects.
Noting the importance of ensuring a high organizational level of the forum, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed a number of relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
