Turkmenistan signed 18 documents, agreements and action plans on the agricultural sector within the framework of the international exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the country’s neutrality, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet’s Wednesday report, the second day of the expo-forum is dedicated to the achievements and prospects of the development of the agricultural complex, which is the among the main segments of the national economy.
Turkmenistan’s ministries of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, and Energy and the State Committee for Water Management signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation with a UNDP Turkmenistan Country Office.
The State Committee for Water Management and UNDP Turkmenistan Country Office signed a 2021 action plan for the project titled "Renewable Energy Sources for the Efficient Use of Energy Resources and Sustainable Water Management in Turkmenistan".
The Turkmen side also signed agreements and memorandums of understanding on cooperation with other foreign partners, including the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC), the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and such foreign companies as Valmont Industries Inc., Valey and JCB Sales Limited.
