Turkmenistan and Russia increased the volume of bilateral trade in 2020, the PRIME business news agency reported on Monday, citing data from the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
The trade turnover between Russia and Turkmenistan in 2020 increased by 39.6%, according to the data.
During the period Russia’s trade grew the most with Brunei (+ 6261.4%). Trade with China’s Hong Kong increased by 84.7% and with the UK by 53.6%.
Russia’s increased its trade turnover with New Zealand by 31.7%, with Uzbekistan - by 15.6%, with Vietnam - by 15.2%, with Luxembourg - by 10.9%, with Iran – by 5.6%. In addition, trade turnover between Russia and Estonia grew by 4.8%.
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Russia neared $694.8 million in 2019.
