The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $14.142 million.
For foreign currency, businesses based in the UAE, China, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), and business circles from the UAE, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan bought base oil, the country’s official media reported on Saturday.
Companies from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased cotton yarn and automobile for foreign currency.
Businesses based in the UK and Turkey bought cotton yarn and medical products for over 744 thousand manats.
State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 18 transactions last week.
