Turkmenistan will transform the organizational and legal form of its Goýumly Oýunlar, Hyzmatlar we Üpjünçilik state enterprise into a closed joint stock company and rename it Altyn Bedew (Golden Horse).
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant Resolution during the 11th meeting of the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association, held on Friday at the Oguzkent hotel in Ashgabat, the country’s official media reports.
According to the Resolution, The Türkmen Atlary State Association’s International Ahal-Teke Equestrian Center is authorized to participate as founder of the Altyn Bedew CJSC with a 60% share in its authorized capital.
During the meeting, the Vice-Premier Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev also reported on the program of celebrations on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse and the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabay, scheduled to take place from April 19 to April 25.
The International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association will hold its next meeting in April 2022 in Ashgabat.
During a government meeting on March 15, the Vice-Premier Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the development of a special software and a mobile application for totalizator betting on horse races in order to develop equestrian sports in the country and improve the organization of horse races.
