President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a visit to Turkmenistan on Thursday and hold talks with the Turkmen Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The agenda of the talks includes issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership, expanding multifaceted cooperation and regional interaction, the Press Service of Uzbek President announced on Thursday.
The Leaders of the two countries will also take part in events dedicated to the memory of the father of the Head of Turkmenistan – Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov.
During a telephone conversation on December 30 last year, the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan noted the solid potential for further building up a multifaceted partnership, as well as implementing large-scale joint projects that meet the goals of economic prosperity for both countries and the region.
