The second meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asia countries and China may take place on May 11-12, the Baku-based Report news agency reported on Wednesday citing a statement by the Press Secretary and Spokesman of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry Yusup Kabuljanov.
A delegation of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry plans to participate in the next meeting of foreign ministers in the Central Asia-China format on May 11-12, Kabuljanov said at a briefing.
According to the media reports, the second ministerial meeting in the Central Asia-China format could be held in the Chinese province of Shaanxi in mid-May.
The first ministerial meeting in Central Asia-China format was held via a video link on July 16, 2020. The online event was attended by the heads of the Foreign Ministries of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
