Turkmenistan’s Mejlis to Adopt Law on Public-Private Partnership
The discussions on a number of laws, including Law on public-private partnership, will be held during the meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on Saturday.

Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh, a bicameral parliament of Turkmenistan, will discuss and adopt a number of laws, including Law on public-private partnership and a new edition of the Law on Education.

Chairperson of the Mejlis Gushat Mammedova informed the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the upcoming discussions of the laws during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held online on Friday.

The discussions of the laws will be held during the fourteenth meeting of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation on Saturday.

The Mejlis will also discuss Law on the establishment of the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan titled “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 30 Ýyllygyna”, Law on the establishment of the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan titled “Garaşsyz Türkmenistanyň Watan Goragçysy”.

The Turkmen legislative organ will also make amendments and additions to some legislative acts related to the creation of Milli Gengesh, regulating issues of political, economic and social significance, and consider draft resolutions of the Mejlis in the context of the constitutional reforms carried out in the country.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in turn, stressed the importance of work on improving national legislation in the context of implementing a socially oriented political course, creating all conditions for a prosperous life of Turkmen citizens.
