During the period, the production of berries and fruits increased by 4.6%, while the production of potatoes was up by 0.7%.

In March this year, new greenhouse complexes were opened in all velayats of Turkmenistan. The greenhouses were built by the Turkmen entrepreneurs and are designed to produce 8,750 tons of vegetable products annually. Their commissioning created about 400 new jobs.
