International Scientific Forum "Caspian 2021: Ways of Sustainable Development” took place in Astrakhan (Russia) in a hybrid format. The forum brought together leading experts in science, higher education, and youth policy from 11 countries, including Turkmenistan.
The Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan and the Vice-Rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly represented the Turkmen side in the forum, according to the press release of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan.
The forum participants highly appreciated the Caspian Strategy of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which is based on clear principles of friendship, harmony and good-neighborliness, broad and equal cooperation.
The forum participants called for the need to unite the efforts of the countries of the region and neighboring states, their close partnership with international organizations based on the awareness of commonality and continuity of the main goals and objectives. In this regard, there is a vast field for cooperation in the near and long term, according to the statement.
International Scientific Forum "Caspian 2021: Ways of Sustainable Development” was organized with the aim of forming effective mechanisms for strengthening the integration of educational, scientific and technical cooperation, technological partnership to enhance the innovative development of the Caspian macroregion.
