The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $6.224 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses from the UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan purchased cotton yarn, one-colored and jacquard terry products, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Saturday.
The business circles of the UAE, Armenia, India and Pakistan also purchased cotton yarn for over 9.565 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased Portland cement worth over $50 thousand.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 15 transactions last week.
