The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week neared $6 million.
The companies based in Turkey and Virgin Islands purchased aviation kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of oil Refineries, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Sunday.
The business circles of Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased flat glass and cotton yarn for foreign currency.
Companies from the UAE, Turkey and Kazakhstan also bought cotton yarn for over 7.663 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased cotton fiber worth more than 6 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 23 transactions last week.
