Georgia exported 162.9 tons of frozen meat worth $361.2 thousand to Turkmenistan in January-April 2021, the Baku-based Trend news agency reported on Sunday, citing the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture.
During the period, Georgia also exported 403.5 tons of poultry meat worth over $303 thousand to Turkmenistan, the Georgian Ministry told Trend.
In addition, Turkmenistan imported 8.8 tons of food additives for $87.9 thousand during the four-month period.
In January-April 2021, the export of agricultural products from Georgia to Turkmenistan amounted to $1.7 million. In turn, Turkmenistan exported agricultural products to Georgia for $411 thousand during the period.
