President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to pay an official visit to the country, according to the letter of the head of Uzbekistan to Turkmen Leader, published in the official Turkmen press on Thursday.
In the letter, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude for the hospitality and warm welcome in Turkmenistan, as well as for organizing the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia at a high level.
“The regular Consultative meeting with a very rich program held on your initiative was very fruitful, and its bright results certainly meet the fundamental interests and aspirations of all our peoples, linked by millennial ties of brotherhood and good neighborliness,” Mirziyoyev said in the letter.
Taking the opportunity, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the Head of Turkmenistan to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time for him.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a visit to the city of Turkmenbashi in western Turkmenistan on August 5 to take part in the third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
