Ukrainian company Interpipe has delivered 1,200 tons of pipes to Turkmenistan since the beginning of 2021, Metalinfo.ru online magazine reported on Tuesday.
Yugneftegaz, a company developing Turkmen oil and gas fields, purchased 600 tons of casing and tubing pipes with premium UPJ-P threads from the company. Currently, negotiations are underway to place an order for products with a non-coupling UPJ-F connection, according to the report.
At the beginning of the year, Interpipe also signed a contract with the Türkmengeologiýa (Turkmen Geology) State Corporation. In accordance with the contract, the company delivered over 600 tons of casing pipes with a premium UPJ connection in May-July. Another 400 tons will be shipped by the end of 2021.
Interpipe is a Ukrainian manufacturer of seamless pipes and railway wheels. The company's products are delivered to more than 80 countries of the world through a network of sales offices in the key markets of the CIS, the Middle East, North America and Europe.
