Two New International Medical Centers to Appear in Ashgabat
The medical facilities are expected to be commissioned in October 2024.

Construction of two international medical centers of the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan will begin in Ashgabat in October this year.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Monday signed resolutions, authorizing the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry to conclude a contract with the Turkish company Gap Inşaat for the design and construction in Ashgabat of the International Treatment and Rehabilitation Center with 400 beds and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology with 250 beds, the country’s official media reports.

The documents also provide for the equipping of new facilities with modern medical equipment, spare parts and consumables, specialized training of specialists and the improvement of the adjacent territory.

The construction works will start in October 2021. The medical facilities are expected to be commissioned in October 2024.

The Turkmen President also signed a Resolution authorizing the Ashgabat Administration to conclude a contract with Gap Inşaat for the design and construction of the Ashgabat city services building. The new building is also expected to be commissioned in September 2024.
