The cotton mill named after S.A. Niyazov, the state enterprise located in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat, has launched production of textile products under its new Meşhuraý brand in August.
The plant operates under the Ministry of the Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.
The new brand consists of hosiery, textile, and padding polyester (sintepon) products, according to the statement issued on the plant’s website on Tuesday.
The product range of the cotton mill has more than 30 types of hosiery, including men's, women's, children's and teenagers, as well as for medical workers and military personnel. More than 10 thousand pairs of Meşhuraý socks are produced daily at the plant.
The plant also produces more than 20 thousand meters of coarse calico fabric and packaging textile materials per day.
The plant’s sintepon products include such household items as pillows, blankets and mattresses. The new Meşhuraý products are presented to consumers in the country's textile stores.
