The Turkmen-Romanian inter foreign ministry consultations at the level of the heads of the relevant departments of the country’s foreign policy agencies were held online on Tuesday. The primary topics of discussions were the necessity to intensify bilateral trade and expanding the legal framework of partnership.
The Romanian Foreign Ministry’s delegation was led by Ambassador Dan Iancu, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in its press release.
The meeting participants touched upon a wide range of issues in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic spheres, and interaction in the education field.
The diplomats also considered the implementation of the previously reached agreements on the Caspian Sea - Black Sea International Transport Corridor.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Romania were established in 1992.
