Turkmen Gasoline Supplies to Uzbekistan Near 127 Million Liters
Uzbekistan has imported a total of 289 million liters of gasoline for $104 million in the first nine months of this year.

Turkmenistan has exported 126.8 million liters of gasoline to Uzbekistan from January to September of 2021, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in its Monday press release.

Turkmenistan is presently the second largest supplier of the fuel to the neighboring country after Russia.

Since the beginning of the year, Uzbekistan has imported a total of 289 million liters of gasoline for $104 million. The imports increased 137 liters compared to the same period last year.

Russia is the main gasoline supplier of Uzbekistan with the fuel exports of 140.5 million liters. Other main exporters of gasoline to Uzbekistan during the period are Kazakhstan (16 million liters) and Iraq (3.6 million liters).

Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with Turkmenistan from January to September of 2021 reached $491.4 million, up 22.1% year-on-year.

Uzbekistan imported $354.5 million worth of Turkmen products during the first nine months of this year. At the same time, the country’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $136.9 million.
