Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government for the industrial and construction complex, during the working meeting on Monday briefed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on works to purchase 10 thousand tons of aluminum from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.
The Vice-Premier briefed on the progress in the procurement of rolled aluminum and cast aluminum billets, within the framework of a high-level agreement reached with Tajikistan. These raw materials will be used by Turkmen state enterprise Nebitmaş.
Following the report, the Turkmen Leader noted with satisfaction that the friendly cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan has reached a qualitatively new level.
The Head of State stressed that active development of international cooperation in Turkmenistan in recent years is important for the successful implementation of fundamental changes in the industrial sphere.
President Berdimuhamedov said the issues related to the imports of aluminum products used as raw materials for development of high quality industrial production should be comprehensively worked out and meet the current norms of the current situation.
Charymyrat Purchekov also briefed the Turkmen Leader on the constructions in the country and preparations for the construction of new facilities this year.
