Turkmenistan Interested in Strengthening Cooperation With Israel: President Berdimuhamedov
New Ambassador of Israel to Turkmenistan Beth-Eden Kite

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to Turkmenistan Beth-Eden Kite on Tuesday, the official Turkmen media reports.

The Head of State congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this post and conveyed best wishes in return to the leaders of Israel. President Berdimuhamedov also stated the interest of Turkmenistan in the comprehensive strengthening of the traditional bonds of friendship and constructive interstate cooperation with Israel that are based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance attached by  Israel to cooperation with the Central Asian countries, where Turkmenistan occupies a leading position, and stated the deep interest of her country in the further progressive development of fruitful relations that meet common interests.

The importance of intensifying cooperation in science, culture, education, and healthcare was also emphasized during the talks.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov cong wished Beth-Eden Kite success in her activities aimed at further development of interstate cooperation.

Turkmenistan and Israel established diplomatic relations in October 1993.
