Russian Business Buys Terry Products Through Turkmen Commodity Exchange
The deal was agreed at $5.50 for a kilogram of the products manufactured at the enterprise of the Turkmen Ministry of Textile Industry.

The Russian business purchased more than 66 thousand kilograms of plain-dyed and jacquard terry products during the Thursday trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET).

The deal was agreed at $5.50 for a kilogram of the products manufactured at the enterprise of the Turkmen Ministry of Textile Industry. The total amount of the transaction amounted to $364.3 thousand, the SCRMET announced on Friday.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $13.5 million.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
