Turkmenistan to Hold Numerous Events in August
On August 1, the solemn opening ceremony of Rowaç cottage complex will take place in Avaza National Tourist Zone.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on Friday said although starting August 1, all the state leaders will go on vacation, a number of important events are planned for August, the country’s official media reports.

On August 1, the solemn opening ceremony of Rowaç cottage complex will take place in Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Avaza will also host the ceremony of awarding prize-winners of "Silk Road-2022" rally-raid and Asian championship on weightlifting among juniors and youth on August 3.

Chairman of Mejlis chamber of parliament Milli Gengesh Gulshat Mammedova will attend the opening ceremony of Arkadagyň Nesilleri recreation center for children built in Esenguly Etrap of Balkan Velayat on August 5.

The foundation laying ceremony of a new large bridge across the Garabogazgol bay in Balkan province will take place along the important North-South transport route on August 8.

On August 15-16, International Ministerial Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries will be held in Avaza.

During the Government meeting, Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of Turkmen Government in charge of the construction, industrial and energy issues, briefed on the holding og international exhibition "Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan-2022", scientific and practical conference "Development of the construction, industrial and energy sectors of Turkmenistan". These events will be hold on occasion of the Day of construction and industrial complex workers on August 6.

The Cabinet meeting considered a number of draft documents and discussed pressing issues of socio-economic development and some other issues of the country.
