Tuesday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: LNG and Aviation Kerosene
Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 6,000 tons of liquefied gas for $3.1 million.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Monday trades registered 12 deals on the procurement of liquefied natural gas and aviation kerosene for a total of $5.4 million.

Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 6,000 tons of liquefied gas for $3.1 million. The LNG price decreased by 11.4% to $519 per ton compared to the previous auction, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.

The Emirati company bought 2,000 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for $2.3 million. During the auction, it’s price increased by 6,5% compared to previous auction, amounting to $1,180.5 per ton.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $29.7 million.
