August Last Week Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: $54.5 Million
Foreign businesses purchased aviation kerosene, urea grade B, hydrotreated diesel fuel, liquefied gas, low-sulphur heating oil and technical iodine.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $54.5 million, the country’s official media reports.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the UK, Afghanistan, Turkey and Malta purchased aviation kerosene, urea grade B, hydrotreated diesel fuel, liquefied gas, low-sulphur heating oil and technical iodine. Foreign companies also procured textile products produced at the enterprises of Textile Industry Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The Emirati business circles bought cotton yarn of Textile Industry Ministry of Turkmenistanworth more than 1.68 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses procured high density polyethylene, handmade carpets and construction materials worth more than 15.41 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 27 transactions last week.
