Thursday Trades at Turkmen Exchange: Oil Products For $7.8 million
The Afghan business concluded a deal on purchase of 7.6 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for $7.6 million.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals on the procurement of oil products for $7.8 million.

During the trades, the company from Turkey bought 325 tons of straight-run gasoline for a total of $190.4 thousand. The price of the product compared to the previous auction decreased by 1.7 percent to $586 per ton, the SCRMET announced on Friday.

Additionally, the Afghan business concluded a deal on purchase of 7.6 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for $7.6 million. The price of the oil product rose by 1 percent to $1,008.25 per ton compared to the previous contracts.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $54.5 million.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
