Loans of Turkmen Banks Near 85 Billion Manats
The total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency as of August 1, 2022 amounted to 17.835 billion manats.

As of September 1, 2022, the total amount of loans allocated by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to enterprises, organizations and population in national currency amounted to more than 84.96 billion manats, which is 13.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2021. Back then, the loans issued by banks totaled 74.968 billion manats, according to the data of Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of September 1 this year, the state institutions and enterprises received loans in the amount of 55.292 billion manats, which exceeds the relevant indicator for the same period of 2021 by 4.02 percent. During the same period last year, such loans totaled 53.151 billion manats.

According to the Central Bank statistics as of August 1 this year, the amount of loans in national currency provided to non-state companies and organizations in national currency totaled 11.836 billion manats, a 60.2 percent increase compared to the same period of 2021 (7.389 billion manats).

Moreover, the total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency as of August 1, 2022 amounted to 17.835 billion manats, which is 23.6 percent more compared to same period of 2021. Back then, this figure stood at 14.428 billion manats.

As of August 1, 2022 data, the total amount of loans allocated by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to enterprises, organizations and population in national currency exceeded 84.91 billion manats.
