The United States-based businesses are interested in finding Turkmen partners, Trend news agency reported on Thursday with reference to Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council.
"There are many large American companies interested in developing business in Turkmenistan, and, conversely, Turkmen business circles appreciate American products and technologies," Eric Stewart told Trend.
He stated that heads of the US companies are expected to visit Turkmenistan as part of a business mission.
"Because of global travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, business cooperation between the United States and Turkmenistan slowed down. But now that the pandemic appears to have become less of an issue, a business mission of US company heads to Turkmenistan is planned for this year," Eric Stewart told Trend.
He emphasized that this business mission is expected to be comprised of US companies in the field of agriculture, energy, finance, security, tourism and manufacturing.
The Executive Director of the Council also stated that there are great prospects for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
An exchange of views on organization of a visit of a representative US business delegation to Turkmenistan before the end of this year was discussed during the online meeting of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council in early October.
