President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on his re-election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and on the successful holding of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the official Turkmen media reported on Sunday.
In his congratulatory letter, the Turkmen President emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to its relations with China, adding that, "We intend to continue to conduct a substantial, substantive and highly confidential dialogue with the People's Republic of China in order to realize the enormous potential of our strategic partnership.”
"I am confident that the next five years of your leadership will be marked by further strengthening of China's economic potential and ensuring progress and prosperity for all Chinese people," President Berdimuhamedov stated.
The Head of Turkmenistan thanked China’s Xi Jinping for his great contribution to the development of strategic partnership with Turkmenistan and wished him good health, success in his responsible state activity, and peace, prosperity and well-being to the people of China.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh also sent his sincere congratulations to President of China Xi Jinping and all the people of the country on the successful 20th National Congress of the CPC.
