President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Monday arrived with a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the official Turkmen media reports.
At the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Head of Turkmenistan greeted by the Emirati officials, as well as members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen President then had a brief meeting with the UAE officials at the lounge of the airport’s Presidential Terminal.
During the first day of the visit, Turkmeni-Emirati talks are expected to be held in extended and narrow formats with the participation of the Heads of State of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
President Berdimuhamedov is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other UAE officials in the afternoon.
This is the first visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the UAE since he took office in March this year.
