The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to more than $18.45 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.
For foreign currency, the companies from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, hydrotreated diesel fuel and petroleum road bitumen of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern.
The business circles of Turkey and Afghanistan procured technical sulfur of Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern.
In addition, the businesses from the UAE, Georgia and Uzbekistan purchased dyed and jacquard terry products, and portland cement.
Turkish businesses also bought cotton yarn for 780 thousand manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 13 transactions last week.
