Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia in January-October 2022 amounted to $168 million, a 3 percent decrease compared to the same period last year, Trend news agency reported on Tuesday with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Georgia.
During the same period last year, the countries traded $173.3 million worth of products.
Turkmenistan’s exports to Georgia in January-October 2022 amounted to $152.4 million, a 7.1 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2021.
During this ten-month period, Turkmenistan increased imports from Georgia by 71.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 – up to $15.6 million.
In 2021, Turkmenistan became the main supplier of oil and petroleum products to Georgia.
