The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Wednesday and Thursday trades registered 21 deals for the procurement of yarn and petroleum coke. The deals amounted to $2,52 million and 22,7 million manats.
For foreign currency, the Turkish businesses procured 819 thousand kilograms of yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, according to the SCRMET.
In addition, the business from Türkiye concluded a deal on purchase of 441 thousand kilograms of yarn for 11,5 million manats.
For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 1 thousand tons of petroleum coke totaling 11.2 million manats. The price of a ton of the petroleum coke amounted to 11,2 manats.
Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
