The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals for the procurement of lighting and aviation kerosene, licorice root for the total of more than $24 million.
The businesses from Uzbekistan and the UAE purchased 16,935 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene at a price of $833.75 per ton. Total sum of the deals amounted to more than $14.1 million, according to the SCRMET.
During the trades, businesses from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and the Virgin Islands bought 15 tons of KO-20 lighting kerosene for $9.64 million. The price of a ton of the kerosene amounted to $642.75.
The Chinese company purchased 500 tons of crude dried roots and rhizomes of licorice for $250 thousand.
Additionally, the company from Pakistan bought 420 tons of licorice root extract at a price of 30.2 thousand manats per ton. Total amount of the deal was 12.68 million manats.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $77 million.
