Turkmenistan Continues Providing Humanitarian Aid to Quake-Hit Türkiye
1,000 plaids and 10 generators were transported to Türkiye from Ashgabat on the Turkish Airlines plane.

Humanitarian aid package collected in Turkmenistan to help the victims of the earthquakes in Türkiye was sent on Sunday from Ashgabat, according to the tweet of Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral.

According to Togan Oral, 1,000 plaids and 10 generators were transported to Türkiye from Ashgabat on the Turkish Airlines plane.

Togan Oral expressed gratitude to Turkish companies operating in Turkmenistan and philanthropic citizens for the donations to the earthquake zone.

On Friday, the Ashgabat-based logistics companies Meno Logistics Turkmen and Tylla Nal have also sent a humanitarian aid for the earthquake victims in Türkiye.

Two major earthquakes that hit Türkiye on February 6 resulted in the death of more than 41 thousand people. Türkiye’s Environment and Urbanization Ministry estimate 84,700 buildings have collapsed or are severely damaged.
