Entrepreneurs can acquire land in the industrial zone of the new, modern administrative center of Turkmenistan’s Ahal province – the city of Arkadag. Those wishing to acquire land can apply to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), the Union announced on Wednesday.
The establishment of the industrial zone in the second phase of the city’s construction was considered during the visit of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, to the new city on February 18.
The Halk Maslahaty Chairman emphasizing the importance of environmental aspects, instructed to thoroughly study issues related to the creation of an industrial zone in the city.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that creation of sewing, light and food industries in the new city will further increase the level of local employment.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during his speech at an expanded meeting of the country's Cabinet of Ministers on Friday informed that the first phase of the new modern administrative center of Ahal province – Arkadag city will be commissioned this year.
