Representative of the Indian company Anipra Impex LTD in a video conference with representatives of the Türkmendeňizderýaollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Transport) in February noted that India exports various products from Russia and Uzbekistan and that the company intends to carry out cargo transportation through the Turkmenbashi Seaport in the future, the Turkmen Agency said in its Friday press release.
During the meeting, Anipra Impex LTD representative got acquainted with the infrastructure capabilities, terminals and transit capacity of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport. The sides also discussed ways of cooperation in improving the capacity of the seaport.
The company representative told about the cargo projects being implemented in different parts of the world and the region, stressing his desire to implement transit cargo projects at the Turkmenbashi port.
In addition, the representative of the company noted the possibility of providing consulting services on cargo projects for Turkmenbashi International Seaport and in case of signing of the agreement between the parties, additional transit cargoes could be carried out in the port in the future.
At the end of the meeting, the sides stressed that efforts will be made to further develop international cooperation in the field of transport and logistics between Turkmenistan and India.
