Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Turkmenistan for January – February 2023 amounted to $105.1 million, which is an increase of 3.6 times compared to the same period last year ($29.1 million), Trend News Agency reported on Saturday with reference to statistics of Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
In the past 2 months, Azerbaijan imported $89.5 million worth of Turkmen products, a 3.9 times increase compared to the same period in 2022 ($22.6 million).
During the same period, the country’s export to Turkmenistan reached $15 million, an increase of 2.3-fold compared to the same period of last year ($6.5 million).
Turkmenistan's share in the total volume of Azerbaijani imports in the specified period more than doubled compared to the first two months of last year.
In 2022, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to $535.3 million.
