The consultant’s tasks include the following:

• Develop a draft manual for parents to monitor development of children aged 0-5 using best international practices and considering the local needs and context.
• Develop training materials and conduct capacity building training to frontline service providers.
• Receive feedback to the draft manual from parents and national partners.
• Prepare final version of the manual and prepare for its publication by receiving necessary approvals

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Advanced university degree in Medicine is compulsory. Specialization in pediatrics is required. Training in early childhood development is required.
• Proven experience in providing ECD capacity building support in Turkmenistan
• At least 10 years of professional experience in ECDI.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the national ECD strategy and proven experience in its implementation.
• Fluency in Russian and/or Turkmen is required; knowledge of the English language will be an asset.
