The main purposes of the consultancy support are:

• To assess school nutrition policies, interventions, and programs in a selected number of schools in 5 velayats of the country.
• To provide technical support to the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education in Turkmenistan for the drafting of school food policy briefs and advocacy materials for improving the school food environment.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Advanced degree in statistics, medical sciences or STEM sciences with knowledge of data collection, data cleaning and analysis
• Knowledge and skills in adapting and conducting surveys, questionnaires, fieldwork, and big data analysis with report writing in educational or health settings.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the above areas.
• Knowledge of United Nations human and child rights standards, UNICEF’s values and ethical standards; Cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability.
• Demonstrated experience in the Europe and Central Asia region as a strong asset.
