Turkmenistan–China Trade and Economic Forum
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), with support from Talwas Yoly JSC and its Oguz Forum&Expo division, will host the Turkmenistan–China Trade and Economic Forum titled “New Opportunities for Trade and Economic Cooperation.” The event is scheduled for April 28–30, 2026, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat.
The forum aims to strengthen business ties and create a favorable environment for expanding mutually beneficial partnerships between Turkmenistan and China. Industrial and production cooperation will be a key focus, covering construction, energy, hydrocarbon extraction, transport and logistics, agriculture, innovation and IT, as well as light and heavy industry, automotive manufacturing and the introduction of modern production technologies.
A significant part of the program will address agricultural development and food security. Participants will be presented with advanced crop-production methods and digital solutions designed to increase productivity and environmental sustainability.
Another segment will be dedicated to transport and logistics integration. Turkmenistan will showcase its potential as a key link in international transport corridors. Delegates will be briefed on projects to expand multimodal routes, strengthen logistics infrastructure and enhance regional connectivity.
The event is expected to serve as a high-level international platform for establishing new partnerships, presenting joint projects and advancing bilateral economic dialogue. Presidents of major Chinese associations, government representatives, executives of leading companies and about 500 delegates from various sectors are set to participate, underscoring the scale and strategic significance of the forum for the future of Turkmenistan–China cooperation.
